Nine days, eight nights all-inclusive in the Colombian Andes — seven guided riding days scaled to your group, leaning in
Every group is different and we build the agenda to fit, but the shape of the week is consistent: arrive, shake down, build into altitude, back off, then the signature ride. Dinners are scheduled around the ride — big days are followed by an Echelon chef-prepared meal.
An intro to Colombia, then a tour of the rooms and property amenities. A qualified bike tech builds and QCs every bike, with a standard bike fit if you need one. We deliberately don't ride on day one — the first ride is always best on fresh legs and fresh minds.
A late start and an easy day to settle in on the bike you just built.
A consistent build that lets the body adapt to 2,200 m. No stops after lunch — one clean run home.
Same shape as day three, one step up in distance and climbing.
Four days at altitude is enough. A shorter day to recover and load up for the big one tomorrow.
The signature ride, mixed into the Medellín Ciclovía — main roads closed, bikes only, and something like 100,000 cyclists in the space. Full immersion into what Colombia is famous for. The 1:00 café stop is the best blueberry milkshake known to mankind.
Waterfalls and an easy pace out to remote, low-traffic roads. Another favourite — they're all favourites, really.
Back into the recovered riding schedule — short, steep rollers that are enormous fun on a road bike.
A mixed route chosen from the fitness we've seen in the group. Check-out isn't until 7pm, so everyone gets one last ride, dinner at Echelon, and the shuttle to the airport.
Dinners are scheduled around the ride schedule. Big days are followed by a meal prepared by the Echelon chef, served in the hotel — the casa opens as a private venue when a week is full.
Some riders are here for the riding and everything else is a distant second. Some want the riding, the food and the adventures. Some are foodies who want to ride, where the culture and the photos come first. We tailor the agenda to fit.
